Challenge #138 – It’s A Bugs Life

Sorry for the lateness of posting, unsure what happened because it was scheduled for whilst I was away.

Just seen that this didn’t happen and again huge apologies from FSC.

Announcement

FSC is a DT member down for the next two months as Yvonne is taking a break for the summer.

If anyone would like to apply to be a guest designer for September and October’s challenges please let us know via the contact button above and we will mail details.

*********************************************************************************

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see rubber/acrylic stamping on your project.

To qualify for the winner’s prize we especially need to see that the stamping is the focal point on the project and that the stamping follows the format of the theme.

NO DIGI STAMPS ARE ALLOWED …

… but you may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … please remember that the main focal point must be STAMPING.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous stamp prize from our sponsor Ink Art Designs.

Please pop back on Tuesday to see who the winner is for Challenge #137 – ‘Use Those Inks Anyway You Want’ and for the top 3 plus the spotlights on Saturday.

It’s A Bug’s Life

Dot picked the new challenge theme and she starts her catwalk stroll with all those creepy bugs falling from the trees onto the female’s head.

She doesn’t seem all that concerned but I am sure most of us would be creeping out.

FSC Bugs

Catwalk Inspiration Time

Our Fashion Stampettes are the most talented ladies around, each adding their own creativity, style and flare to capture the essence of the themes every month.
They would love it if you popped over to read how they’ve come up with their gorgeous pieces.

All about those bugs this month in whatever way pleases you and the catwalk looks amazing with makes from all our lovely ladies.  Each one is so completely different …

… because that’s just what the Design Team do.

So let’s take that catwalk stroll to see each of their stunning makes starting with Avril’s fabulous piece.

This month she has chosen to use the large butterfly from a Tim Holtz set of stamps.

She has also used an embossing folder for the background which sets off the butterfly focal image brilliantly.

Saturday Spotlight – #136 – Seaside

Please stroll down the catwalk or click HERE for our current Challenge #137 – Use Those Inks Anyway You Want

A warm greeting from Hanne and many thanks to everyone for your wonderful entries in the SEASIDE challenge.

It was really tough to decide but I finally picked the following and my reasons why – in no particular order …

 #1 – Rosie
A very atmospheric landscape with a Caribbean flair, feels almost like paradise.

#3 – Heather

A fantastically coloured evening atmosphere, the setting sun and the lighthouse are beautifully staged.

#27 – Kitty

The background is beautifully coloured and the blue transitions are particularly well done.

Once again, thank you to all who took part in this challenge and to the Fashion Stampettes for their hard work and inspiration.

Hugs
Hanne
