July 9th, 2017 by FSC

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see rubber/acrylic stamping on your project.

To qualify for the winner’s prize we especially need to see that the stamping is the focal point on the project and that the stamping follows the format of the theme.

NO DIGI STAMPS ARE ALLOWED …
but you may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … please remember that the main focal point must be STAMPING.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous stamp prize from our new sponsor.

Please pop back on Tuesday to see who the winner is for challenge #124 – ‘Make It Feminine’ and for the top 3 plus the spotlights on Saturday.

Onto the challenge …

Gone Fishing

This one is for the guys, or gals, in your life who like to go fishing, or boating. It can even be about the fish themselves!  Lots of people are on holidays at the moment and fishing is one of the most relaxing things to do while you’re away, other than crafting of course, so why not combine the two!
When you have chosen the path you would like to take then come back and show us your results with Mr Linky below.

Yvonne chose the theme this time round and she starts her solo walk with this card which tells the story that every fisherman knows about.   And what a beautiful underwater paradise these lucky fish live in.

“Hello, I am Sara Emily, I’ve been crafting on and off pretty much my entire life, and am currently on a few Design Teams.

I love just about all styles, but my favorite is Vintage/Grunge.  In addition to creating, I enjoy gardening, staying active, and having fun with friends and family.

Thank you to the entire Design Team for inviting me to Guest Design with them today!”

Here is what Sara has made as her debut piece for FSC and I am sure that you will all get some fantastic inspiration from her make.

Yvonne chose the theme this time round and she starts her solo walk with this elegant but very regal looking card.

Her stamped image is absolutely beautiful … in fact everything about the card shouts beautiful.

Challenge #123 – Let’s Go Wild

May 14th, 2017 by FSC

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see rubber/acrylic stamping on your project.

To qualify for the winner’s prize we especially need to see that the stamping is the focal point on the project and that the stamping follows the format of the theme.

Please pop back on Tuesday to see who the winner is for challenge #122 – ‘Sound of Music’ and for the top 3 plus the spotlights on Saturday.

Before we start onto the new challenge FSC would like to welcome our new sponsor:

Ink Art Designs

Below is a little information about them:

 Let’s Go Wild

This could be wild animals, wild flowers, wild parties or wherever your imaginations takes you.  When you have chosen the path you want to take then come back and show us the results with Mr Linky below.

For this challenge FSC would like to welcome Elisa from 2 Crazy Crafters as our Guest Designer.

Elisa lives on the east coast of NSW, Australia with her hubby and two boys and has been art and crafting for many years.

“I majored in art in college and I have a great range in my style from Mixed Media art to Scrapbooking to Watercolour painting.   Home decor items, canvases, natural wall-hangings, out of the box items, mixed media pieces to art journaling and a combination of the lot at times.

If I had to describe my style I would say eclectic, different and colourful.  I love to use loads of different mediums on my projects but as hubby would say I have an unhealthy addiction to stamps, stencils and paint.   I also have a penchant for up-cycled or repurposing items for my projects, from natural items to hand dyeing fabric, wire, feathers, toilet paper and other unusual things”.

Here is the beautiful tag that Elisa has made as her debut piece for FSC.

Sandra chose the theme this time round and she starts her solo walk with this amazing card.

As you can see she has gone for a scene from the Serengeti in Africa with a cheetah stalking through the grasses.
The calm and surreal background has created a wonderful backdrop for the mayhem about to unfold with the prowling cheetah.  The colouring of the cheetah beautifully brings this animal to life and is in stark contrast to the silhouettes in the distance.

To see how she has made this card pop onto her blog where she will have all the information for you.
