Challenge #116 – Trees

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see rubber/acrylic stamping on your project.

To qualify for the winner’s prize we especially need to see that the stamping is the focal point on the project and that the stamping follows the format of the theme.

but you may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … please remember that the main focal point must be STAMPING.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher of $20 for Flonz’s Store

Please pop back on Tuesday to see who the winner is for the ‘Autumnal Colours #115 and for the top 3 plus the spotlights on Saturday.

Before we start onto the challenge we have some very exciting news to share but also some very sad news.

Firstly the sad news – both Claire and Esther have decided to step down from the design team.

Not only will we miss the beautiful pieces that they make for FSC each month but we will also miss both of them.

Claire has been with FSC from our very first launch day.

Below we are showcasing Claire’s first debut piece onto the catwalk for FSC which was 31st July, 2011 – wow over 5 years and also last month’s make, 11th September 2016 which is her last.

We wish her all the luck in the world wherever her path leads and we really hope that she will come back every now and again and grace us with a guest design appearance.

Esther will also be sadly missed, she made her debut entrance just as FSC were celebrating their first year on the catwalk.  She showcased her first make on 12th August, 2012 – over 4 years ago.  She made an amazing door hanger, last month’s piece was a fabulous Autumnal tag.

Again we wish Esther all the luck in the world and here’s hoping she too will come back and maybe do a guest designer spot.

Now some happy news … please welcome our newest Fashionista who will be strolling onto the catwalk each month and parading her fabulous work for you all to gather inspiration from.  Please make a date to visit her blog and leave some love.

Leanne - Autumn

Here is a little info about our newest DT member.

“Hi there!  My name is Leanne and I live in the East Midlands of England (Northamptonshire).  I am a mother of two teenage girls (18 and 16) and am married to James.  I live in a busy household with three cats, two Golden Retrievers, two Chinchillas, a rabbit and a Cockatoo.  On top of this I run several businesses with my husband so crafting is my escape route to all the chaos around me!!!
I am thrilled to be part of the design team at Fashionable Stamping Challenges and humbled to have been asked to join such an impressive and creative team.
Been crafting in one form or another most of my life and got interested in papercrafting (particularly card making)  just over 15 years ago.  I have a passion for rubber stamping and the use of paints and inks but enjoy a challenge, so often venture ‘off piste’ with the use of lots of different media.  I particularly like experimenting and learning new techniques.  Particularly love it when I have an idea in my head and then see it transform into a finished piece of artwork.
I have a motto ‘you never stop learning’ and I believe that with your own ability and the enthusiasm and support from those around, you can achieve anything you put your mind to.  Papercrafting is fun, can be very messy and is completely addictive – I’m totally hooked!!!!!”

Choose to design and make anything you want as long as we see those trees and also please remember that we still need to see that you have used stamps on your make.

When you have chosen the path you want to take then come back and show us the results with Mr Linky below.

Sandra chose the theme this time round and she starts her solo walk with a stunning picturesque scene.  Her chosen colour palette could either be an early morning sunrise or an evening sunset.

How gorgeous does the catwalk look this month, it’s full of makes which are all completely different because that’s just what the Design Team do.

So let’s take that catwalk stroll to see each of their stunning makes starting with Brenda.
