Challenge #106 – Make Your Own Background

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see stamping on your project.

To qualify for the winner’s prize we especially need to see that the stamping is the focal point on the project and that the stamping follows the format of the theme.

No digi stamps are allowed but you may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … but the main focal point must be stamping.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher of $20 for Flonz’s Store

You certainly loved challenge #105 ‘Winter in Paris’ as we had some absolutely fabulous entries.  Please pop back on Tuesday to see who the winner is and for the top 3 plus the spotlights on Saturday

‘Make Your Own Background’

Choose to make whatever you want as long as it follows the theme that you have made your own background.
When you have chosen the path you want to take then come back and show us the results with Mr Linky below.

Avril chose the theme this time round so she starts her solo walk with a fabulous card that has an amazing background of soft tonal blues and stamped postal ephemera.  An amazing butterfly completes and compliments the whole ensemble.

Catwalk Inspiration Time

The catwalk this fortnight is full of gorgeous artistic backgrounds for you to feast your eyes on.

All the Fashion Stampettes have their own unique distinctive style and they would love it if you popped over to read how they have come up with these awesome pieces.

So let’s take that catwalk stroll to see each of their pieces.

Dot is parading off with this awesome canvas.  So many different techniques went into the making of her background and the beautiful circled tissue paper stamped images float magically around a whimsical winged angel.

ps.. my entry (no 1) was just posted at my blog today after reading your challenge, however it was previously posted at Chocolate Baroque’s blog a few days ago. If that is against the rules, let me know and I’ll delete my entry. I’ll still participate in another entry regardless. Thanks Shirley x

Thank you for the invite Shirl, I’m not into entering challenges but it seemed rude not to after such a nice ‘ask’, mind you took me one or two attempts to link up, just shows what a novice I am.

    Super DT work of course.
