Challenge #69 – Silhouette

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see some form of stamping on your project, also no digi stamps are allowed.

You may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … but the main focal point must be stamping.

Please welcome our sponsor of FSC a fabulous company called Flonzcraft.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher for Leo’s Store of $20.  Here is a little information about our sponsor:

We are a small family-owned design and craft company from New Zealand, a very small country where all people are great neighbours. We work very hard for our store and work philosophy to reflect that in our company. We are very proud of our products and our main goal is making and selling rubber and clear stamps. We have a unique collection of stamps that you cannot find anywhere else.

Thank you to all those who entered our Water Inspired challenge and also a huge thank you to Amanda for picking such a fab challenge, please pop back on Tuesday to see who the winner is and for the top 3 .

SILHOUETTE

This fortnight Ellie has asked for a Silhouette theme which can as you know be the image of a person, animal, object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single colour, usually black.  A silhouette appears as a solid shape.

Ellie’s solo walk starts with this impressive piece which is utterly breathtaking.  She has chosen her style to be white with a soft and muted background.

“When putting something together, dare yourself to make something work.  Always look for the most interesting Silhouette or something that’s a little off and figure it out.  Make it yours, that’s the beauty of art”

Onto the inspiration from the Fashion Stampettes this fortnight and again truly spectacular makes.  All so different and unique, they would love it if you popped over to read how they have made them.  So let’s take that catwalk stroll to see each of their creative makes.

Catwalk Inspiration Time

Laura’s beautiful silhouette piece conjures up memories of a time when we used to sit in front of the fire and read.  How exquisite does she look framed with those adorable flowers.
