Challenge #68 – Water Inspired

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see some form of stamping on your project, also no digi stamps are allowed.

You may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … but the main focal point must be stamping.

Please welcome our sponsor of FSC a fabulous company called Flonzcraft.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher for Leo’s Store of $20.  Here is a little information about our sponsor:

We are a small family-owned design and craft company from New Zealand, a very small country where all people are great neighbours. We work very hard for our store and work philosophy to reflect that in our company. We are very proud of our products and our main goal is making and selling rubber and clear stamps. We have a unique collection of stamps that you cannot find anywhere else.

Thank you to all those who entered our Anything Goes challenge, please pop back on Tuesday to see who the winner is and for the top 3.

Water Inspired

This fortnight Amanda has asked for a Water Inspired theme which can be the sea, beach, river, water reeds, raindrops, boats, swimming, sea shells, ducks, fish, mermaids … gosh the list just goes on and on.  So please show us your water makes.

Amanda’s solo walk starts with this impressive underwater creation which is reminiscent of Davey Jones’ Locker.  So cool how she has just shown a few of the octopus’ tentacles swimming away … mind you that guy looks mean enough to scare anything away.

“Water does not resist.  Water flows.  When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress.  Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you.  But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it.  Water is patient, dripping water wears away a stone.  If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it.  Water does.”

Oh my the inspiration from the The Fashion Stampettes this fortnight is absolutely awe inspiring.  They would love it if you popped over to read how they have made them.  So let’s take that catwalk stroll to see each of their creative makes.

Catwalk Inspiration Time

Meggymay’s stunning card shows off her beach belle perfectly.  The collaging compliments everything especially the flowers and lace.  Superb colour tones.
