Challenge #66 – Build It Up

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see some form of stamping on your project, also no digi stamps are allowed.

You may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … but the main focal point must be stamping.

Please welcome our sponsor of FSC a fabulous company called Flonzcraft.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher for Leo’s Store of $20.  Here is a little information about our sponsor:

We are a small family-owned design and craft company from New Zealand, a very small country where all people are great neighbours. We work very hard for our store and work philosophy to reflect that in our company. We are very proud of our products and our main goal is making and selling rubber and clear stamps. We have a unique collection of stamps that you cannot find anywhere else.

I know you are going to be as excited as we are when you see who is joining us on the catwalk this fortnight as our Guest Designer.  She really needs little introduction as her work is absolutely amazing and here is a little info about her also.

ANNIE from Curious & Crafty Treasures

Hi Everyone … Annie here and I am absolutely thrilled to be Guest Designer for this fortnight’s fabulous challenge – “Build It Up”
I live in the West Coast of Scotland and have been crafting in one way or another for most of my life.  It was approximately 20 years ago that I started dabbling in hand crafts, starting with decoupage pictures.  Having attended various workshops and progressing my skills I then began card making and fell in love with all things Ranger.  My style is Vintage Grunge but I do love to try all styles and I now adore Mixed Media and Altered Art.  I was inspired to join blogland by my mum (Rita) and I have to say I have never looked back.  Been absolutely fortunate to have met and made some fabulous blog friends and I am sure you will agree crafters are just the kindest people ever.  Have Fun!!

Annie is showcasing an amazing canvas for this fortnight’s challenge which she has built up with lots of layers.  Texture paste, stencils, stamped tissue paper plus she has also layered the cabinet die to build it up.  A Time traveller stamp has also been used and built up plus all beautifully finished off with a Tim Holtz Sentiment stamp.

Thank you Annie, this is certainly a treasured timepiece.

Build It Up

This fortnight Avril has asked that you use a minimum of three stamps on your projects.  Use more if you wish but we do need to see at least three.

Avril’s solo walk starts with this magical tag and she has used some amazing stamps, one of which is a beautiful dress form.  Now we all know that the dress form is used to fit and drape the garment over for alterations but this tag needs no altering at all.  So many tasteful things going on with the colours seeping together exquisitely.

Fit the parts together, one into the other, and build your figure like a carpenter builds a house.  Everything must be constructed and composed of parts that make a whole”

The Fashion Stampettes have again used their fabulous talents to design some very beautiful inspirational makes just for you.  They would love it if you popped over to read how they have made them.  So let’s take that catwalk stroll to see each of their creative makes.

Catwalk Inspiration Time

Ellie’s inspirational card is all about the sea and don’t you just love the old fashioned sailing ship stamp she has used.  The blue and green sea colours are fabulously tonal and compliment the background pages perfectly.
