Challenge #61 – Shabby Chic Christmas

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see some form of stamping on your project, also no digi stamps are allowed.

You may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … but the main focal point must be stamping.

FSC has said a sad farewell to Sue during the last fortnight because she has decided to step down from the team.  Sue, as you know, has been on the catwalk with her gorgeous creations from the very beginning of FSC so a huge thank you from all the Fashionettes.  We wish her well and really hope that she will pop back now and again to say hi.  Good luck Sue on your new journey ahead.

Please welcome our sponsor of FSC a fabulous company called Flonzcraft.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher for Leo’s Store of $20.  Here is a little information about our sponsor:

We are a small family-owned design and craft company from New Zealand, a very small country where all people are great neighbours. We work very hard for our store and work philosophy to reflect that in our company. We are very proud of our products and our main goal is making and selling rubber and clear stamps. We have a unique collection of stamps that you cannot find anywhere else.

Shabby Chic Christmas

Shabby chic is so easy peasy, all you have to do is make it look old.  Rip, tear and distress those edges for a real shabby appearance.

Shirley’s idea for the theme this fortnight so she starts her solo walk showing this aged and shabby card with such a beautiful distressed background to enhance the stamped image and ribbon.

“There’s nothing sadder in this world than to awake Christmas morning and not be a child”

The Fashion Stampettes have used their fabulous talents to design some impressive inspirational pieces just for you.  Please pop over and read how they have made their projects.  So let’s take that catwalk stroll to see each of their creative makes.

Catwalk Inspiration Time

Meggymay shows us this delightful winter scene bathed in true shabbiness.  Even the colours shout old and delicate – please handle me with care.
