Challenge #44 – Paperpiecing

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see some form of stamping on your project, also no digi stamps are allowed.

You may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … but the main focal point must be stamping.

We would love to thank Astrid from Astrid’s Artistic Efforts for being our guest designer for the Swirls challenge, her inspirational piece was absolutely divine. To see who has been picked as the winner or a top three for the Swirls Challenge please pop back on Tuesday, plus this time round Shirley will be picking the Saturday Spotlight favourites and also her reasons why.

Please welcome our sponsor a fabulous company called Flonzcraft who will be sponsoring FSC.

The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher for Leo’s Store of $20.

Here is a little information about our sponsor:

We are a small family-owned design and craft company from New Zealand, a very small country where all people are great neighbours. We work very hard for our store and work philosophy to reflect that in our company. We are very proud of our products and our main goal is making and selling rubber and clear stamps. We have a unique collection of stamps that you cannot find anywhere else.

PAPERPIECING

We would truly love to see your own interpretation of paperpiecing and how different can you make your project, maybe some altered art or even a journal page with some paper piecing on it. Wherever your imagination takes you we would love to come visit and see it.

Claire chose this exciting challenge and the Fashionettes are definitely up for it by showing the way with their inspirational pieces which are quirky (check out Yvonne’s), fun, pretty, elegant, beautiful, manly and definitely very artistic. Let the challenge begin.

Silvia has really shown what it is all about with this funky tag. Take a look at the dear little chicky chook, doesn’t he just melt your heart. What an amazing colourful shell he has been living in.

(Looks as if he would rather be back in the shell, probably so warm and cosy in there, then he comes out to all this cold snow brrrrr.)
