New and exciting things happening at FSC
Our first piece of news is that FSC has changed – we now have our very own DOTCOM addresss! If you have us in your bookmarks or favourites can you please make sure that you update our link to www.fashionablestampingchallenges.com.
Also, if you currently have our logo on your blog can you please take a copy of the new logo as that has the correct address plugged in. You will find this in our lefthand sidebar.
Our second piece of exciting news to share.
Please welcome our new sponsor a fabulous company called Flonzcraft who will be sponsoring FSC.
The winner of each challenge will receive a very generous voucher for Leo’s Store of $20.
Here is a little information about our sponsor:
We are a small family-owned design and craft company from New Zealand, a very small country where all people are great neighbours. We work very hard for our store and work philosophy to reflect that in our company. We are very proud of our products and our main goal is making and selling rubber and clear stamps. We have a unique collection of stamps that you cannot find anywhere else.
Wow after all the excitement business as usual and here is this fortnights challenge as chosen by Shirley
Just when you think all the surprises have finished we have another Guest Designer this fortnight at FSC.
I am sure Astrid needs no introduction as her work is simply amazing but for those who are new to her creations here is a little information on how she found the world of crafting.
Being a teacher by profession, Astrid received her first stamp, a box of embossing powders and embossing ink as a Christmas present from a child in her class whose mum owned a rubber stamp shop. That was the beginning of a hobby that no doubt will last well into her retirement!
Her paper crafting hobby has developed from early stamping and card making days into using many different types of media. She considers herself a mixed media artist. Astrid loves journalling, altering all sorts of objects and playing with gesso, acrylic paints, collage and many layers. However, stamps are used in some form in most of her projects.
Her work has been published in the Winter 2011 issue of Somerset Studios Art Journalling magazine and is a member of the design team at Snazzys Stamping and Scrapbooking shop plus the Artistic Stamper’s Creative Team. She is also a member of the Spellbinders International blog team. Astrid has been a guest artist/monthly muse for the Gingersnap Creations blog, The Ribbon Girl blog and Calico Craft.
Thank you Astrid for agreeing to be a Guest Designer at FSC.

Again the Fashionettes have made some real beauties for their inspirational pieces, so browse to your hearts content and then we would love to see what beautiful swirly pieces you create.
Meggymay is swirling onto the catwalk with this darling of an outfit in swirly cool blues and layers of elements that really please the eye..

You may use digi downloads for enhancement of your projects … but the main focal point must be stamping.
