Saturday Spotlight #18 – Spring Is In The Air

Please stroll down the catwalk or click here for Challenge #19NAUTICAL

Saturday Spotlight Time
What this means is that one of the Fashionettes gets to showcase whichever entries caught her eye and puts them into the spotlight.

Joanna our lovely resident guest designer is entertaining you this fortnight with her choices also her reasons why she has decided these pieces are her spotlights …

Karina
I totally adore the soft and muted colour palette on Karina’s card it has such a hint of beautiful vintage flavours which makes her creation look so soft, floaty and dreamy.  Love how the adorable little Tilda sitting on the clock illustrates the meaning of the sentiment … simply superb.

Katie
Katie’s card really blew me away!  Her fantastic use of the inlaid veneer technique makes this card really stand out from the crowd.  The bird image and delicate embellishments of tiny twigs and birds nest really put a smile on my face.  I could almost hear the delicate chirpy cheeps of the little birdies dawn chorus a true sign of spring.  This was the perfect creation for our challenge.

 Rosie
Now take a look at this little beauty, such beautiful stamping and inking Rosie has created a truly stunning scene.  Her card took me back to the years of camping by  the lakes, listening to birds singing their hearts out and lake waters whispering gently as the ducks floated by without a care in the world.  This card just simply captured my heart.

Well done ladies you deserve to be chosen for the Saturday Spotlight, don’t forget you still have one more week to enter the …
