Challenge #19 – A Nautical Theme

We are a stamping challenge so we do need to see some form of stamping on your project also no digi stamps are allowed.

Wow how fresh and sunny were those entries for the … Spring Is In The Air Challenge? Please pop back on Tuesday to see who will be the winner and top 3 as picked by the Fashionettes and not forgetting that Joanna will be picking her Saturday Spotlight favourites plus her reasons why.

Our wonderful sponsor Marina from Cottage Crafts is allowing the winner to choose anything from her shop up to the value of €7 + postage and packing.

Not many people know that the TITANIC was a Royal Mail Steamer … RMS TITANIC … and she started her maiden voyage 100 years ago this month on 10th April 1912 then sank 5 days later on 15th April 1912.  She was built in Belfast and she sailed away from Southampton on her journey to New York.  Shirley has an interesting family story here.  What better way to remember this historical event than to make our theme this fortnight …

Nautical
Could be a beach, water, ships, shells your imagination has no bounds, just have fun with what you make.

Paula was the brains behind this fortnight’s challenge and yeh we have two winners of the sneak peaks …
well done KATIE for guessing that the challenge is a Nautical one and a well done also to KAREN for guessing Lynne’s sneak peak was #11.
Lynne has made this wonderful piece for your inspiration with a TITANIC element to it.

Another stunning array of creations from the Fashionettes for all the inspiration you will need for this challenge.
Yvonne is our first Fashionette to grace the catwalk with her stylish but very classic little one piece showing lots of red ribbon and buttons along the shoulders then it dreamily floats away to a gorgeous beige and brown print straight over the hips.
